Liaise with all Department Heads to identify Team Member learning and development needs - and support the implementation of the property Training Plan to meet these needs
o Work with GM and DHR or MHR to create details annual training plan and budget
o Administer the Learning & Development budget
o In conjunction with Department Heads - develop departmental on the job training schedules that meet departmental operating objectives
o Prepare and administer the learning and development calendar on a regular basis
o Assist department heads/ outlet managers and supervisors in setting up and scheduling of on the job training to achieve performance standards
o Prepare and submit Learning & Development related plans and reports as required for distribution to property management level
o Manage and update monthly training record of Team Members and ensure that all Team Members have carried out training hours according to ONYX - Learning & Development policy
- Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management or related professional area.
• Minimum 2-5 year experience within a hotel/resort environment in Indian Ocean or in a beach destination.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and computer literacy is a must.
